The ASL campus opened for all students on 1 September. Before beginning an application for mid-year entry, please contact the admissions team to discuss the likelihood of openings in your grade(s) of interest.

Next Academic year

Admissions is now open for next year September entry based on the following requirements and deadlines:

Step 1: Submit online application and fee by 15 January

There is a non-refundable application fee of £300 per student payable through the admissions portal. The fee is waived for families applying for financial aid.

Step 2: Submit supporting documents by 31 January

Applications are considered complete once we have received all of the supporting documents listed below via the admissions portal.

Late applications

Families who do not meet the initial deadlines but who are able to complete their applications by 15 March will be notified by 15 April. Applications completed after the January and March deadlines will be considered on a rolling basis.

Requirements

Upload materials via the admissions portal. It is each family’s responsibility to ensure that all required information is received by ASL by the deadlines. Required forms are available in the portal.

Lower School (K1-Grade 4): Age eligibility

Applicants for K1 must turn four years old by 31 August and applicants for K2 must turn five by 31 August. We require all students to be fully toilet trained in order to begin school.

School records

Transcripts or copies of report cards for 2 ½ years, including the fall semester of the current year, translated into English, should be uploaded into the corresponding places in the portal . Please do not send originals by post.

Teacher recommendations

Submit one Teacher Recommendation from the applicant's current teacher. Recommendations should be completed after 15 November to be received by 31 January. Required forms are available in the portal.

Middle School (Grades 5-8) & High School (Grades 9-12) : School records

Transcripts or copies of report cards for 2 ½ years, including the fall semester of the current year, translated into English, uploaded into the corresponding places on the portal. Please do not send originals by post.

Standardized testing

Students applying for Grades 5-12 must submit the results of one recent standardized test.

The following standardized tests will be considered:

Examples of standardized tests we DO NOT ACCEPT include IOWAs, CAT (Cognititve Abilities Test), TerraNova, ISAs, UK SATS and U.S. state testing.

Complete the Applicant Questionnaire after 15 November to be received before 31 January. Required forms are available in the portal.
